Object Description

Inhaler with entrance and exit valves for anaesthetic vapour attached to frame. The frame has regularly spaced holes, a hinged wire collar for holding the fabric cover in place and two bars crossed to form a guard for nose and mouth.

  • Owner: Dr. William Edward French
  • History of Use: Used by Dr. Bill French [1920-1992] who was a general surgeon at the Burris Clinic, Kamloops British Columbia circa 1952 to 1972. In 1972 he joined the Workers Compensation Board in Vancouver and moved to Tsawwassen.
