Object Description

Gossett's mouth gag consisting of two arms on either end of a square bar which has a spring coiled around it. One arm is stationary, the other mobile. 'B.A.B.' is stamped into the stationary arm, top end, and '1 5' is stamped into the top inside surface of both arms.

  • History of Use: Used by Dr. Bill French [1920-1992] who was a general surgeon at the Burris Clinic, Kamloops British Columbia circa 1952 to 1972. In 1972 he joined the Workers Compensation Board in Vancouver and moved to Tsawwassen.
