Object Description
Clear glass bottle and porcelain stopper with rubber washer attached with wire to bottle. Bottle embossed with 'CITRATE OF MAGNESIA' surrounded by a decorative shield. The bottle has two mold seams down sides.

Acquisition Detail
- Owner: Mr Ross Scott
- History of Use: Object found by Mr Ross Scott, a Pharmacist, when he bought a drug store in Lake Cowichan in 1957 [one of original B.C. drugstores]. Store fixtures probably made by 'Shotbolts' in Victoria. Citrate of magnesia was a medicine very commonly used for the treatment of constipation and upset stomach.
