Object Description
Anatomical stamps for diagnosis and pathological records. Consists of eighteen rubber stamps each with a wooden base and handle, one rubber stamp with a lead base and a wooden handle and two metal stamps each on a wooden block base; one lead and one copper alloy. Labels ‘C.W.MACK TORONTO RED HANDLE CUSHION REG’D 1925 PATENTED’ attached to parts t and u. Owners name ‘A M DAVIDSON’ scratched into the varnished surface of parts c, d and k, and ‘DR DAVIDSON’ written in pencil on the back of parts v and w. A sales catalogue No. 10 from ‘BARTON MFG. CO. NEW YORK’, with thirty seven pages of anatomical stamp illustrations, 1:1 size of actual stamp. Parts a and b [largest of the stamps] dimensions given.
