Object Description

Post mortem set in case with key. Case has lift out tray with lidded compartment. 29 all metal instruments: solid mallet and knife/hatchet with brushed chrome plated finish on handle, cross handle chisel, 6x solid forged scalpel handles with different shaped blades, disjointing enterotome/bowel scissors with hook point, disjointing straight scissors with probe end for coronary arteries, 2x blunt end dissection forceps, bow saw handle with serrated blade; fitting for/and straight handle and spare serrated blade, straight disjointing shears with spring, folding skin grafting razor 'TIEMANN' stamped on handle, 0-100 gr. graduated cylinder, 2x double ended 4 pronged flesh hooks, probe with eyelet, 2x double ended probes, set of 4 straight blow pipes, 2x straight triangular pointed suture needles, horse hair suture in sterile tube with 'Stevens Sterile Sutures' etched on surface and 'HORSEHAIR SELECTED' printed on label. Metal insignia [Stevens Company - snake coiled around staff with crown] attached to inside of lid. All metal instruments have same insignia stamped into surface except probes, needles, blow pipes, flesh hooks and folding razor.
