Object Description

A twin transilluminator in a lidded box with written instructions and pictures printed on both external and internal lid surfaces, containing: a twin transilluminator with a 7½ ft electrical cord with two tips consisting of two light carrying tubes, each with a removable bulb hood and a screw-in bulb; two glass sheaths with light shields; two spare bulbs. One light carrying tube is fixed and connected to the handle, whilst the other can be manually adjusted by way of guide bars to modify the tube's spacing. The bulb hoods have a small circular opening for projecting the light rays. When the hoods are removed and the tubes brought together the light bulbs can be covered by a glass sheath with rubber shield for oral examinations. 'NATIONAL.L.I.,N.Y.U.S.A. PATENTED' stamped into the transilluminator’s surface. Box dimensions given.
