Object Description

A small case with handle holding 3 perforated reels for surgical silk thread [German]. "Seide" [silk] is stamped into the front of the case. The case opens to reveal a plate under which 3 perforated reels are held. The plate is stamped with the words "Fein" [delicate], "Mittel" [medium] and "Starti" [strong].
