Acquisition Detail

  • Owner: Dr. Seiriol L. Williams
  • History of Use: Phlebotomy instrument used by Dr. Seiriol Llewelyn Williams. Dr. Williams was born in Nanaimo, B.C., and graduated from Harvard University in 1936 with a medical degree. He interned at Montreal General Hospital, then accepted a position at Hall-Giovando Clinic in Nanaimo where he worked for 4 years. After WWII, in which he served with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp, he moved to Vancouver where he set up a family practice. He died 1986.
