'MADE IN ENGLAND' stamped into valve neck and 'SCREW DOWN LIGHTLY' stamped into control tap head. 'SPARKLET HOLDER 'J' SIZE' in relief along the length of the cylindrical holder. Elastoplast tape adhering to surface with 'HAVE TO ...... WELL DOWN BEFORE PUTTING IN NEW CYLINDER' written in ink. 'CARBON DI-OXIDE' label attached to gas cylinder.

The screw mechanism in the center top adjusts the cutting depth and the side button is a locking device. 'GERMANY' is stamped into lever handle.
